MacKinnon, the league leader in even strength points. was robbed of a nomination and is somehow still underrated with voters.
Feels like Florida making the playoffs with less points than the Flames was a kick in the left nut to Flames fans and now this Tkachuk Hart nomination is a follow up to the right nut.

I doubt that. I would be very surprised if McDavid winning wasn't unanimous.
Tkachuk probably earned a lot of votes just because the Panthers ended up making the playoffs when it seemed unlikely.

I disagree.
Tkachuk is a level above. He is elite defensively, drives play among the best, and has all the intangibles as well. He's the real deal and always has been. The hype is justified.
I'm as frustrated as the next Flames fan that he isn't on the team anymore, but he's an elite player. He's among the playoff scoring leaders as well if there was any doubt about his playoff game.
