This is the final Wednesday Night Hockey OOT of the season. Both games (one from each conference) have something on the line. The Islanders need one point in an overtime loss will clinch the final playoff spot in the eastern conference.

The western conference game is part one of a home/away series. The Stars can still come second in the conference and first in the Central Division.

It is a doubleheader in both Canada and the United States with the Sharks-Flames game being the second game and shown nationally in both countries. Go to Cheese's awesome GDT for the pregame posts and links!

SN Now is down nationwide but thankfully they're making the Habs game available on their website so I hope they do the same for the Flames tonight.

Watching the Isles battle to get in tonight and I had a thought.

Islanders are in the playoffs. Florida has a game left to win if they don’t want to play Boston in the first round.

Crazy how low the East wild cards are compared to the west...was expecting the other way around. Flames might have more points than a playoff team

The Stars defeated the Blues in Saint Louis to keep the pressure on the Avalanche for first place in the Central Division.

That haul that Dallas got in the 2017 draft is really good. Heiskanen now with 73 points on the season. Getting an elite scorer, number one defenceman, and goaltender when you weren't really taking out of a draft is a great haul.
