Default AHL all stars skills competition on now.

Just a heads up the AHL skills competition is on right now on TSN3. Both Matthew Phillips and Dustin Wolf are taking part. Mitch Love is named a coach.

This is more entertaining than the circus that the NHL put on. It is just straight hockey and goaltending skills on display. No garbage scripted skits, no beaches and no golf.

Difference is they're playing for jobs.

The NHL needs to add some lthing to the pot for ASG.

Like home ice for the cup final goes to the conference who wins.

I think this photo should put the claims about Phillips' stature to bed. Smart move by Wolf, using the halo effect to his advantage. You want to be taller, hang around with really short people.

Nah the circus should stay the circus. I definitely don't want Oilers and Canucks potentially deciding the Flames' fate

No to all-star game deciding home ice in cup final. Weren't posters saying regular season should mean something? It does. Most regular season points gets home ice. If ASG decides then regular season means even less.

Why do they need to add something to the play for? The ASG is a fun weekend for the stars of the NHL and their families, and the host city.

Who cares if they lollygag all day long? Its the ASG. It's fine the way it is. Not my cup of tea, so I don't watch it.

AC's original handiwork...

The hilarious part of it was the real Rico Fata liked it when it was posted on Twitter.
