Default January 23, just three games.

The Monday OOT is a quiet one with only one western conference team in action.
Rogers Monday Night hockey is a doubleheader with the Flames game being the second half of it.

Yes i know the time here he was a whole lot of meh but he shown to be overall consistent throughout his career and he be much better then some of our middling six forwards.

Our middle six right now:

Huberdeau, Kadri, lucic
Mangiapane, Backlund, Coleman

You could make a case for Lucic but that's it.

Some of those are up on the top line at times.
Id take him further up in the lineup than Dube as well.

Anders Lee scores late in the first period.
The second period has been all Leafs. Nylander has four points as the stinkin' Leafs lead 4-2 late in the second period.

Damn, I was hoping Taveras would cry in his pajamas on his pillow.

The Rangers lead 3-1.

The Sabres and Stars are tied 1-1 late in the second period. Good game here in this 1999 Stanley Cup final reunion.

After a scoreless second period, Olofsson scores early in the third period and then Robertson ties it up four minutes later. It is 2-2 with less than five minutes left in regulation time.

Satisfactory news for western conference teams, Owen Power scored 56 seconds into overtime for the Sabres as they win 3-2.

Scrolling through YouTube and saw the preview image for one video that seemed to imply that the Panthers pulled their goalie in the 3rd period, down 5-1 tonight with 9:05 left? Crazy!

It worked for the Panthers to have the extra attacker as they scored shortly after. Checking the box score on this game, the Panthers goalie (Alex Lyon) is clocked for 55:17 being in net. Coach Maurice had him on the bench for a while until the Rangers scored with 3:11 left in the game.
