A denim bubble?
A company sells blue jeans at $460 US a pair . . . . and sales are booming to the tune of $100 million a year.
Will there be a denim bubble?
Another adventure into modern culture:

My G/F works retail, and apparently the ultra expensive jeans are "out" and everyone is going back to Levi's.
So yes, the bubble will soon burst, and my 501's from 6 years ago (that look faded because I wear them so much) will soon be hip again.

I disagree, I don't think it will burst. Levi's are just too damn ugly to make any kind of comeback. It's all about how you look in turns makes you feel good. I swear, if any of you Levi wearer ever put on a pair of Diesel's, you can't go back to Levi's. Of course money is a big issue, but if you could afford it, you'd buy the Diesel's.
I think designer jeans are here to stay. Every year Diesel puts out something new and fresh that is just fantastic. There will always be people with money who love this stuff. Gucci's been around since 1921 and people still buy their $600 bags and $300 sunglasses.

You just have to laugh. Particularly troubling? Indeed. How can she sleep at night?

I have a couple of pairs of diesel jeans and I prefer my Levi's Jeans. They last just as long and break in better. At over $100.00 cheaper per pair, why not buy these?

Man I must be really poor, I don't even like to spend $40 on jeans, I just can't justify spending $100 on a pair of pants.

I disagree. Nothing so fine as a man's butt in Levi's.
