Well, last game of a long road trip and it was a close game. Sucks to lose though.

.600 road trip.
Good. Not great. Could have been so nice for the W tonight.
I’ll take it though.

Disappointing effort level especially in the first 40 minutes. Can’t afford to be doing that with how this team is constructed. Really need to start a longer winning streak any time now.

Disappointing effort in the last game of a good road trip.
That’s why you gotta play more than 20 minutes a game too.

Uber-D'oh!
I don't know how you managed 115 points sir, but I wish you bottled some of that and brought it with you

What exactly is Huberdau bringing to the team? Not moving his feet. Not staying on his feet. 30% pass success rate. Accepts even less passes successfully. Overall such a soft soft effort game after game. The dude needs to start playing hockey and making simple effective successful passes.

I find it hard to resonate with this team. Just no character or emotion. First time I’ve been so emotionally uninvolved with a Flames team.

markstrom gave them a shot, I can honestly say that
I feel for him that the team couldn't start on time and make use of a great performance

Preds played well. Saros is good. Flames tired but still kept it close.
Seattle lost. Vegas lost. Oilers suck. On to the next.

Markstrom was very good tonight. The team was sleepwalking for 40 minutes then played an okay final 20. Too little, too late. The penalty (kind of unlucky imo) by Rasmus to kill a long 5 on 3 hurt. So did the waved off goal, but that was the correct call. Can't take 40 minutes off to start a game the rest of the season.

Meh…. This was going to be a tough one. That’s why you gotta win the winnable games like Chicago and the blues game when you’re up by 2 in the 3rd. Get those three points and you’re fine with this loss.
Instead, it’s the excuses riddled woulda, coulda, shoulda flames.
