^^^ Hmm weird one. Doesn't look like the hand he threw his glove off of was really impacted much by the hit.

The reaction tells me he probably had his hand pinched between his stick and the boards, maybe broke a finger.

I am not unhappy we get to see a longer look at Zohorna over Ritchie. We know what we have in Ritchie.

Francis: So is Ritchie out with a upper body injury?

Sutter: It's lower body.

I had an injury back in university where a guy hit me, and the way the hand on the top of my stick was, along the boards, and the way he hit me, my stick was stuck in the glove, the wrist bent a bit oddly, and it hurt my wrist. Looked like nothing.

When I rotated it, it was pretty painful for a few days. One day, it felt close enough to being better, and I went to hockey. Thought I was good to go.

Suited up, and when in warmup, I took a pass and the impact of the puck hitting my stick made pain shoot up my arm to my elbow. Dropped my stick. Picked it up and that was the end of my ice time.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was something similar

We can probably expect a call up, but keep in mind they'll either be covering Ritchie's minutes (or Zohorna's) or they'll be in the press box. So no Pelletier, Zary or Phillips.

Rooney I guess. Shrug.
