Default Flames lose 5-2 to the St Louis Boooos!

Bad news is we're only 20th

we have some work to do to get into the bottom 3!

playing lucic on the top line is a great strategy going forward though

Don’t worry. Lots to be optimistic about. Team is showing signs!

Not skilled enough. Not fast enough.

The Blues who are playing back to back and have their backup goalie in net who has given up his fair share of goals... Flames still can't get it done.
All quantity, no quality.

Try to be positive, but it's getting REALLY hard.

An 8 game win streak will do wonders for this franchise…in March/April when we’re already eliminated from the playoffs.

I know it only solves some problems, but I miss Tanev and I've missed Kylington's speed and puck movement all year.

We all knew Sutter had a short shelf life. I just didn’t expect it to be this short.

When the trade was made in the offseason, I was sure it was going to work out marvellously for both teams, and both would be contending for the cup this season.

Both teams look terrible. At a loss for words...

Chemistry is a hell of a thing. There was always the cha ce that it could take a while and here we are. These guys better get it together fast as times slipping.

It's very interesting to see both Calgary and Florida struggling. A case study on the effect of core changes in the offseason or coincidence?

Teams shut out Sutter. Hence Lucic being on the ice for half the third period it seemed. Sutter sending a message to rest of players. Toxic dressing room.

Markstrom again swimming. Yes defensive breakdowns but another sub .900 night.

Really beginning to sour on the head coach. I don't think this team, as constructed, is nearly as bad as it looks on the ice right now. That was a terrible showing.

I’ve given up on playoffs this year.

Not optimistic about the long term future.

Huberdeau trade is an qualified bust.

No excuses after this one.

Blues playing a back to back with their backup(though Binnington is struggling).

0-3 PP vs the worst PK team.

I hope I can eat crow, but this team does not have it.

Team moto:
"Work harder, not smarter".

Is there a team in the league that works harder for less?
We don't have a single player who looks consistently dangerous.

Looking at the standings, the Flames could get to 26th pretty easily. Those bottom 6 teams, woof. I don’t think the Flames can be that bad if they try.

Time to start shaking these lines up, showcasing some guys for trades, and building towards next year.

If this continues, I think Sutter will get some sort of cushy job with the Flames (to maintain the extension he just got).. and Treliving will be fired. At least I hope.
