Glad to see 88-11-20 reunited.

Not nearly as glad to see 17 back on the second line.

If Lucic plays in our top 6 again I am seriously going to question Sutter's sanity.

Nice to see Lucic rewarded with top 6 reps now that he's got that first goal under his belt. Opens up more room for Phillips to take reps as the 13th forward.

And people say Sutter doesn't give young guys a chance.

Come on...

Lucic scores one freaking goal and gets elevated into the top 6 yet Ruzicka has shown that he can be a top 6 threat and gets thrown to the bottom of the line up.

Don't want to read into it too much but seriously.

Like, sure, he had a better game. But thats compared to how he'd been playing. WTF is the obsession?

Lol.

Change the lines yet again after they build some chemistry and a win.

Over the past 1 game, Lucic would be on pace for 82 goals if extrapolated over the course of a full season.

22 6 11 17
29 1 5 6

Look at those stat lines and tell me where they should be in the lineup

Honestly Sutter is always looking for a reason to give Lucic more time, Im shocked he sat to start with.

To give him a top 6 spot before Phillips is mind boggling. Worst forward most of the year, 1 goal in 62 games, and finally has a good game...better bump him to top 6.

I'm 99.9% sure this isn't the case, but I'm starting to feel like Sutter is ####### with someone.

Yeah he can't play that far up the lineup ... he has to see that.

In and out, and a fourth line role fine, but not a top six.

Hoping it's a punish Ruzicka for the penalty and place hold his spot in the top six, while looking at the Coleman Backlund Mangiapane line in practice.

Phillips is kind of sitting right there for that lucrative Lucic spot.

My theory is that Sutter is still mad that Tre made that big trade plus went out and signed Kadri. This is his revenge.

Sutter wanted Chucky traded for three 3rd line scrubs and a journeyman defencemen but ownership said it was Tre’s decision and sutter’s still raw about it.

I don't love Sutter's reply but I also long ago figured what he says matters little.
But what is fireable about his comments?

There is no first line in Sutter’s game plan. Every line is the fourth line in order to win

But why break up the top 6 regardless just to punish someone, they are finally finding some chemistry. You can easily swap Lucic and Ruzicka and not waste practice time playing games.
