Winnipeg video guys have been red hot lately. There was a quick challenge for offsides that negated a 'Hawk goal. Good catch by them. Both teams just sparring with little dangerous going on. The 'Hawks keep trying to spring Athanaseou, but, I have NOT been impressed by him. He reminds me of Rene Bourque...lot of speed, no finish. Jets just score one on a net front scramble, Harkins, I think.

Athenaseou eats an elbow on what I thought was a clear pick...no call. Period ends. NHL Network ragging on Connor Murphy's poor positioning/decision making. I really dislike all the 'Hawk D-men games. S. Jones, a mismatched part for a team in tear down mode, Murphy, awful positioning, bad judgement, Jack Johnson, skates like he has cement skates, Jake McCabe, also a step too slow, Jared Tinordi, marginal, like Murphy, I think old boy's club nepotism have gotten them, both, opportunities above what is seems to have earned, Caleb Jones, well, I, actually, like his game better than his brother's. He seems sounder, positionally, but, still, is no better than a 3rd pair guy.

The Canucks, to no surprise, cannot hold a one goal lead. Kunin has tied it up at 3-3. It is now in the late stages of the third period.
Sprong has the go ahead goal for the Kraken, 5-4 now.

Tkachuk scored, 1-0 Senators. It is good to see a Pacific Mountain primetime game on a Sunday. This is the only inter conference game after a pair of intra Central and intra Pacific division games.

My point about the awfulness of the Blackhawk Defense is proven by that beat down. Mrazek wasn't good, but, he is also not a miracle worker. The Jets, completely, earned that game...

What is up with Seattle being so good this year? I really did not expect them to shoot up the standings in the way they have. They scored some very nice goals in their game tonight too.
