Picked mid second round 7 years ago. We picked Kylly in the same round, so can't be too bummed, but it would be really nice if a player developed like this for us for once. Maybe Ruzicka will. Dube seems like a long shot now.

Robertson would have come in much higher, I expect. Would have been worth it for the Stars IMO

Trying to figure out if Dallas is just lucky or is very good at drafting.
I don't recall them being bad for an extended period of time, yet they keep having stud after stud after stud come through their system.

He’s still an RFA after this deal so they could still get 8 more additional years. He will have arbitration rights though.

Solid contract. Time to extend longterm is when they are still young enough to earn the money. Has basically been a PPG guy for the last 2 1/4 seasons. Suspect that will continue.
