For a game where everyone is running around with knives on their feet I am surprised that things like this don’t happen more often.

As much as I think the guys an awful person, you’d never wish this or any injury on anyone.
Hope he’s okay.

That's actually not as bad as it could have been. I figured out for the season for sure.

Well, if he's back for the playoffs, and assuming they're in those playoffs, this actually gives them an opportunity to add at the deadline.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. I'm glad he's ok, but beyond that this is fantastic news for a terrible person.

There is many times and places to criticize players like Kane, but it is never fantastic news when any player is seriously hurt.

That was a horrific injury that I wouldn't wish on anyone (aside from maybe the Putins, Kim Jong Uns of the world).

Glad he's ok, but also glad he won't be playing hockey for several months.

Not glad that the Oilers get to pull a Tampa with LTIR though...

Hopefully it's more of a Vegas situation where they miss outright.

You just know that even if he is ready to go before the playoffs, the Oilers are going to Kucherov him until the end of the regular season if they are in a playoff position.

He'll have a lot of time on his hands (pun intended). Can he stay out of trouble?

It would be dumb not to try it.

Well, if there is one thing that Oilers management is, it's "dumb."

To each their own, but the one decent thing Kane ever did was concuss the crap out of Matt Cooke. That's another player with a severe injury and also a big win.
