Default Huberdeau showing subtle signs of annoyance

I don't have the answer but plenty are wondering — how are Huberdeau and his new head coach getting along?

For the first time this season, I saw a little frustration with the media. Maybe disguised with humour, but he used a very specific word — "interesting" — in an answer to a colleague.

He pulled it out of the morning skate scrum when it was used to describe his season so far (not his word) and it didn't really fit the question he was asked post-game. So it was intentional even if the reason wasn't obvious.

With all the Sutter motivation tactics and words in the media regarding Huberdeau's start, and slotting him with Backlund (which may end up actually being a genius move) I think getting on the road for six is a good thing for Huberdeau right now. The pressures here can be intense.

Ah yes the rest of the media jumping on the supposed issues between Sutter-Huberdeau that Eric Francis seems set on fabricating.

So you decide to start a thread on a comment that you admit wasn't obvious about the intent to stir up all the negative people on the site. Great job Steve.

Eric Francis's annoyances are anything but subtle.

A professional athlete annoyed with the media for constantly poking and prodding them on a daily basis by asking leading questions designed specifically to provoke an emotional response? Well I never….

Actually I think he can handle Sutter. He was more annoyed with Eric.

Wait I am confused he said the word interesting to describe the season so far and that's a sign of annoyance?

I remain fascinated by how people on this forum react to this.

I have now heard rumors about Sutter and Huberdeau's relationship being off to a bad start from Frank Seravalli (on barnburner) the barn burner hosts themselves. Mike Commodore reporting what he heard last Saturday on the Sportsnet youtube broadcast vs Winnipeg. Eric Francis. Steve Macfarlane. They're not creating the issue by reporting on it

In fairness to Eric, he asked a fair question. It was just his choice of wording using interesting as a descriptor that didn't go over well for whatever reason.

You started a thread asking if Huberdeau is subtly annoyed with that airbag Eric?

Eric used the word interesting earlier in the day. Huberdeau threw it back in his face after the game. Two different scrums.

Need a good 6 game road stretch from Huberdeau and the team, for this to go away. Media likes to run with controversy and it can end up impacting the team and the associated players more than it initially would have.

Here as in CP, or here as in Calgary?

I'm actually surprised that you post here, with all the people jumping down your throat. Not cool by them at all. Most of us appreciate your work. Don't let the keyboard warriors turn you off.

Who would Commodore be connected to in the locker room? He is also a blowhard who loves to hear himself talk an idiot like Fleury. The same thing with Frank, just trying to get hits on his website.

The entire world knows how Sutter does things, it should come as no surprise he calls guys out. He called out Gaudreau before his 500th game, and he got 115 points under him the next season. It's time to perform is hardly calling anyone out.

If they have anything to be upset about it would be ice time but the rest seems like the media trying to create a story.
