There needs to be some mechanism in the NHL to bring up repeating officiating issues where they are deciding games.

Nonetheless, poor stick discipline by Rasmus there. Just like when Lindholm held out his arm during the last OT loss, Rasmus should have kept his ice on the stick instead of holding it in a way that could be interpreted as a cross check.

This is ultimately still our fault for giving up the lead so badly.

Flames deserved 2 points from this game.

but of course, the refs had to get their way. 2 games in row in OT decided by the officiating. NO chance the Isles played a penalty free game. No chance. Hard to watch this league.

I don’t even like hockey. But I hate wrestling. Tonight I got the worst of both.

The league has to do something about OT officiating as it virtually ruins the entire game.

Well, considering the injuries on the blue line and the officiating tonight, it was a minor miracle to get a point out of this one. On to the next one.

Reffing was bad, but the Flames had a 10 minute brain fart that cost them... it never should have gotten to OT

You can’t just ignore the penalty on Markstrom at the end of the third and then call that penalty in OT. It’s either both or neither, pick a lane.

The lack of good decision making happening on this team is outstanding. Really playing below a level you’d expect with a Sutter team. I don’t know if Sutter has lost the room or what is going on but this is incredibly concerning.

The Flames better get a formal complaint in regarding the officiating.
