Let's hope Noah is good to go.
Also, I know we are winning and things shouldn't/won't change for the time being but I wonder just how long this Trevor Lewis experiment can last. I'd really like to see Ruzicka to get a fair shake at filling that hole.

I'm trying to recall but I think there was a play where he did look a bit shaken up but didn't end up going to the dressing room.
Hopefully just maintenance and he's okay.

It's always interesting to me that sometimes there are drastically different opinions on a line/player from fans when we're all watching the same game. For me, I thought that Lewis was good on that line and did a lot of the small, safe things that he seems to always do.

I certainly understand why Sutter would leans towards playing Lewis in matchups against Colorado/Edmonton where Backlund/Coleman get heavy dosages of Mackinnon/Mcdavid but I don't think it's something you can go to consistently. Lewis does what is asked of him but his skillset is not top nine material, and it really minimizes what that line can do over all 200 feet of the ice.
Five on five Lewis leads Flames forwards in shots against, scoring chances against, high danger looks against, is last on the team in xGF%, and has been outscored while on the ice to start the season. To add to that he has been on the ice for both PP goals against in just over four minutes of icetime.

I thought that line struggled to sustain zone time Saturday because Lewis kept fluttering in wristers from the tops of the circles whenever they had the puck in the o-zone.
Safe play for sure, but not really helping the team much.

At the very least Sutter should follow the same philosophy with Ruzicka as with Vladar.
He needs to get into at least one game per week.

Agree with this...as long as he's practicing hard.
He looked a bit lazy in pre-season which was a knock of his in the past.

I think the 3rd line RW and the whole of 4th line should be rotated between Lewis/Lucic/Rooney/Ritchie/Ruzicka/call-ups. Ideally each will get in like 55-65 games.

I think you make fair points. He likely isn't the best option if production is what you're after for that line and there might even be a better option than him defensively (though I'm not certain Ruzicka is that guy).
Hailey also talked about this line specifically today on the Fan. She made it clear that she's a Trevor Lewis defender though ha.

That was supposed to be Sonny Milano's spot but apparently he didn't want it very badly.

Lewis has played very well for who he is, but his ability to put the puck in the net is almost zero. Would like a better 2-way player on the 3rd line. Have Lewis play mostly on the 4th line with Ruzicka coming into the line-up depending on performance.

In camp, people were saying Ruzicka didn't look good on the wing. If he drew in it would probably have to be at 4C, but Rooney seems to have that spot nailed down for now.
I sense a roster move coming in the fairly near future.

Also interesting to me that Rooney hasn't been tried on the 3rd line with Goalman & Backs, considering how great that trio looked in the preseason.

I think the reason for that is how well the fourth line has played in the first two games. Can Ruzicka do the same thing for the fourth line that Rooney is doing?
