Nill is able to identify young guys who are ready to play as well as anyone in the game.

I suspect this will be another example when all is said and done.

Seems crazy to give up a 1st when he was a late (28th overall) first 4 years ago, and still hasn't established himself as an NHL player.
I don't see Dallas as a top 5 team this year, so that pick is almost guaranteed to be higher than the original pick used to draft him.

Pretty decent chance Dallas doesn't make the playoffs, as that is a very tough division. So this could turn out to be something like a 11-16 overall pick in one of the deepest drafts ever.

Pretty bold move by Dallas.
