Would be interesting to see the cap hit Dobson gets signed to. Takes him up to the age of 25, so he would still be an RFA at the end of the contract.

Seven if you include Robin Salo, who is projected to make the jump, and Andy Greene says he wants to re-sign with the Isles, making it 8 D-men

Ok Didn’t know about Greene
I would say they want more than Salo for depth but I guess you could argue Valimaki is no better

Considering the value on the AAV, anyone aware of how it’s structured? I’d imagine with a higher final season to give a high QO.
Does 2-4-6 work, within the CBA?

It's all about what side of the fence you are on. Fan of the team wants their good players locked up for as long as possible. Fans from a distance are looking more at the value of the contract. It's a great contract money-wise bit of a gamble for the Isles as he will hit free agency when he's just hitting his prime.

That was also my first thought, but I think it's just 120% of AAV now
