One last tour apparently. There's no way they can go on without Gord.

NO!! I always wanted to see The Hip live, and now I'll probably never get to. Absolutely one of my favourite musicians of all time.

What is going on this year with musicians dying? Terrible news as that's way too young. What's the scope of their last tour?

so many things to say about our friend and his difficult time, but the word that keeps finding me is love; over and over again, love; love shooting into the sky; bursting into fireworks; raining over us; love for gord; love for his friends and family and band; love. say it.

We were front row at the outdoor show they did here at Fort Calgary a couple of years ago. Gord was his usual crazy self. He was 3 feet from us at one point, he jumped off stage and we had to hold back a crush of people trying to touch him. It was 30+C and his white shirt was transparent he was sweating so much. Incredible entertainer. I was looking at a concert shirt just yesterday, smiling that it was now 20 years old.

DAMNIT!! I've seen these guys probably 10x. One of the best live acts and easily a top 3 Canadian band of all time (for me any ways). Very sad news.

I'm so mad at cancer right now. I wish I could go and punch cancer square in the dick.
Gonna have to find a way to make it back to Canada to see one of their last shows. This band is the soundtrack of my youth.

I was there too, that was a hell of a show.
Canada is losing one of our best. Sad to hear.
I'm gonna fire up a couple Trag albums tonight.
