After this season he'll likely be a Group 6 UFA unless he signs an extension or gets significant NHL playing time — there's a certain threshold of games you have to play before you turn 25 to maintain RFA status. Believe it's 60 games, could be wrong

Phillips made 80k in the A on his last deal — that was before he finished top-10 in AHL scoring.
Would imagine he's comfortably into the six figures now.

Based on what other similar players have, I'd guess his AHL salary will be in the $300,000 range.
Well, scratch that.

I guess when he was only making 80k before, 140k is a pretty significant raise. Almost double.
As a UFA he might have pushed into the 200s.

Lil Matty can't get no respect. Even Philps secured $250k this upcoming season and he's not nearly as good as Phillips.
