Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2022 - Round 12
Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!
As per usual ...
1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to rookie camp range
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2022 - Round 12
Not to get off topic, but a fun little prospect tidbit- Scott Wheeler just released his 2019 redraft for the Athletic and he has Wolf going at #19 to Ottawa. That’s a jump of 197 spots for the kid!
He has Pelletier dropping 4 spots to 30th overall. Says his projection for him remains the same as it was back in 2019. A top 9 forward who can fill in on any line.

At this level it's a complete crapshoot so I went Cameron because why not?

Kuznetsov this round. Would have voted Beck next, but looks like is likely going to win this round.

Good point. I wonder if this is the latest we've gone in one of these rankings without a player from the most-recent draft making an appearance?

If the Flames had taken Lane Hutson in the second round, I would've been voting for him ahead of Kerins. (Same deal with if they had taken Stankoven over Stromgren).

Agreed, Hutson stood out (in a good way) in the Habs camp...some serious gamebreaker vibes. Seems like a Flames-type pick as well due to his shorter stature.
Time will tell if we made the right choice.

I was very interested in both Stankoven and Räty at the time. Both are fantastic prospects.

In 2018 the top rated current draftee was Petterson at #17, as we didn't draft until the fourth round that year.

Jack Beck was the only member of the 67’s who had even close to a ppg, and he was well above it. His game might be a bit raw, but he’s a diamond in the rough.

I am voting for Klapka. The guy I didn't even know existed until the Flames signed him as a free agent.
21 years old, 6'8" and 245 lbs. Obviously pretty raw, but I am intrigued to see what the Flames coaches can do with him.

You got any scouting that talks skating, hockey sense, puck skills.
That frame is great and all, but we have seen this before

I would pick strogrem. Unfortunately that new Swedish transfer agreement is really going to hurt him in the long run.
