Palat is a 15-20 goal scorer that never plays a full season. I’ll be interested to see the AAV

I do think Coleman plays a grittier game, but I agree.

Yup if you’re willing to give Palat 5 x $5.5M (not confirmed AAV at this point) then you likely should have just went richer for Gaudreau and into the $10Ms (which maybe they did, Gaudreau making weird decisions today)

Pat Steinberg agreed with you on Magni's AAV in June of 2021.

However, we are a 35g season later and in a Post-Gaudreau reality.

He is going to arbitration, or his contract starts with a 6.

This negotiation in particular, tells the fanbase a lot about the near term direction of the team.
