Man I’d be pissed if I were a Leafs fan. They just took a decent size downgrade in net. This isn’t the Murray on Pittsburgh. Brutal job by Toronto here.

If there is more than 30% retention I can see the gamble...lots of talk about Gibson but there stats are actually similar the last three seasons as a whole.
Interestingly Murray's high danger and low danger save percentage is fine.
It's his medium danger save percentage that is the worst in the NHL among goalies that have played 3500 or more minutes the last three seasons.
HDGSAA: -0.45
MDGSAA: -19.59
LDGSAA: 1.85
Keefe and Dubas both had Murray in junior, they must think they see something they can fix.

Unless they think they can cybernetically replace most of his joints I'd be interested to know what it is that they see.
