The 2012 New Jersey Devils were the last team to win consecutive games in which they faced elimination in a Stanley Cup Final.
Colorado is 8-1 (.889) on the road in this year's playoffs. With a win tonight, the Avalanche would become the third team in NHL history with a road winning percentage of .900 or higher in a postseason in which they played at least eight road games. The Devils did that in 1995 (10-1, .909) and the Kings in 2012 (also 10-1, .909).
Brayden Point will not be playing in game six.

Wonder if ESPN is annoyed that this game is on Sunday night.
Are the baseball and hockey audiences different enough that one isn't cannibalizing the other?

Yes, the point I was making is Sunday Night Baseball is pretty huge for ESPN. Wonder if this costs them eyeballs.
