Default [PGT] Flames Punk Themselves. 2-0 DAL

Awful. Worst I’ve seen all season I think.

Giveaways. Can’t hold onto it. Refusing to shoot. Just bad. Not going very far with that.

3 days in and Flames shutout for 115 minutes and lose home ice.

So on-brand for this franchise

Not worried yet, but holy crap do the Flames' top guys struggle at 5v5 EVERY SINGLE PLAYOFFS.

No goals in 115 minutes. 0 5v5 goals all series.

1 goal in 2 games is EMBARRASSING

0 5v5 goals in 2 games. That's pathetic. 5v5 production has been an issue for our top players for a few years in the playoffs now.

Another game 2 loss. So far, typical Flames.

This team and it's weird ####ing curses.

Handled the puck like a grenade a lot and just didn't have enough quality on net. Frustrating.

A few worrying signs that we've seen before but I trust Darryl completely.

We need to Calm down this is what Sutter wants. These guys were on high horse and got punked.

I am sure there is lots of humble pie Sutter is serving right now. Dallas goalie is getting pulled Saturday

Overall a very tight game and series. Not nearly enough quality chances at even strength from our top players, and our PP was maybe even worse.

I'm once again very worried about Gaudreau's inability to have any sort of impact in the playoffs, especially 5 on 5.

32 career playoff games and only 2 5v5 goals and 2 5v5 assists.

Onto game 3...

I think it's time to see Stone in the line up and on the 1st unit PP.

Team was supposed to be tough. Stars man handled us and didn't allow anyone near the net.

Just gutless hockey

I have a bad feeling Gaudreau and the top line live in time and space, which evaporates in the playoffs.

I think game three will tell us all we need about this team.

Need more Kylington

One the bright side, I don’t think the stars had a chance that wasn’t the result of an egregious giveaway

The top line at least had chances this game which is a big improvement over game 1 though. If they keep this up Johnny is losing millions by the game though

Aside from being down 2-0 in the series, that’s about as bad an outcome as possible for the Flames. Playing EXACTLY the way we have in playoffs since 2015.

Fanbases’ worst fears coming to fruition so far. Hope they can turn it around, but this has me nervous.

Oettinger saw too many of the shots he faced. The Flames need to do a better job of getting in front of him, screening and creating deflections.

Gotta be better in game 3. We had no mojo, looked totally off kilter, discombobulated and disjointed.

Cannot let Dallas dictate again.

Flames were better team easy, gotta get inside to get actual dangerous chances.

As long as they play their game they are fine. Get that intensity up.
