Streaming the playoffs overseas
So, I am going to be in South Africa for the next week and then in England for the remainder of the month. What is my best option for streaming the playoffs? Does anyone have experience with ESPN+? From my research that seems like it should work, but would like to know if anyone has experience with this or any others. Thanks!

I always streamed with NHL.tv which works fine there, but if you're in Canada when you subscribe, they're gonna force you to the Rogers package which is not available overseas. And actually I think there may be restrictions in the UK with NHL.tv.
If you have a VPN that can spoof your location, that might be the best way to see the lay of the land in each country before you leave.
The NHL really does itself no favours when it comes to accessibility.
I'd speculate there are alternative methods as well.

I have Telus and use optik TV app on my phone at times.. would that work if I am in Mexico based on the fact i am a telus customer... or will they recognize me being out of the country?

Optik wouldn't work for me in the US, not sure about Mexico. I'd suspect it's geolocked.

Options are extremely limited without a VPN. Even with a VPN, sites like ESPN don't work very well and you often get blocked out anyway. NHL TV works in many international countries (including SA, I used to live there!) but not sure about UK.

We don't want it discussed here. That's the rule. Don't really care about anything else. If Bingo says he's fine with it that's ok, but until then it's a no-go.
So please stop sending links or discussing it. Thanks.

I am heading to Europe soon and wanted a site I can watch the games on delay (so the streaming sites are of no use)
I believe overseas you need to use an app called ESPNPlayer. From what I read, this is the same as NHL.tv overseas. They have a free week trial as well.

For South Africa, NHL.tv should work fine.
For UK however Premier Sports may be your only option and in Europe it might be another broadcaster like EuroSport.

ESPN doesn't work outside of the US and you'll need a VPN to get it to work (and feed is horrible).
