Powerplay Quarterback
A RW. That’s good
Edit: looks like a LW (stupid NHL)

Beck is definitely interesting. Pretty good production as a 16-year-old OHLer.

very interesting that they liked him that much as a 16yo that they took a swing

Total shot in the dark, it seems. But a 6th rounder, so why not

All I can get
His brother Noah was drafted in the 7th round in 2020 by the Blues.

So total wild card? They must have some idea of what he'll grow into.

Very good skater, good two-way player, and some good numbers in his D-1 year.

Wildcard is right. Flames obviously thought enough about him in their viewings in previous years to track him.
Personally, I wonder about the kids who lost a year of development. Will they rebound? Will their ceilings be lower? I have no idea, but the world is going to find out. Either way, the Flames obviously feel he is worth the pick, so I am on-board!

And another goes. Jack Beck to Calgary. Beck is a super quick attacking offensive winger. His hands are arguably his greatest strength. Plays a heads up game constantly surveying his passing options.

At 168, the Flames take Jack Beck. Highly intelligent, complementary winger. One of the smartest OHL players available IMO. Question is...can he play at a quicker pace and can he become more dominant on the puck to create his own chances? One to watch as he matures.
