Today is my 28th birthday so I felt like starting the GDT. Please get the win tonight boys!
Some notable things going into tonight's game:
-The Stars are currently holding onto the last Wildcard spot. Vegas sits two points behind them. They still have a game in hand on Vegas but we can expect them to come out tonight with urgency
-Lindholm is still one goal away from 40
-Tkachuk is also one goal away from 40 and 1 point away from 100
-A win tonight will clinch the division for us
GFG!

Very interested in the game tonight. The cynic in me just feels like the Stars will find their urgency which has been missing in their past 2 outings.
That said, this is still a team the Flames could play in Round 1. They are also a team I think 'd rather see the Flames play instead of the Predators.
The Stars play the Flames tough, always seem to give them troubles. Could be a careful what you wish for scenario in the playoffs but tonight could give us a good look at what might be. Flames win big and thats it, I'm all for the Stars running the table and finishing as wildcard 1 even though a Flames win hurts those chances.
Rollercoaster of emotion.

Stars looked like they rolled out of an Edmonton dumpster fire last night against the Oilers. Hope we get them in round 1. They look slow, out of shape and beat up.
In the first game against Dallas this season, Kylington set up the equalizer to send it into OT and in our second match-up, he scored the game-winner. It was an absolute beauty!
Stars - Jason Robertson
The California-born product is having a heckuva sophomore season. He had 17 goals and 45 points in 51 games last season and for an encore, has recorded a team-leading 36 tucks to go with 34 helpers. He's skilled, creative and fast. His was described by Adam Gretz in a recent NBC Sports article as 'one of the most exciting and must-see players in the NHL.' High praise that's well deserved.
