Default Flames focused on fun, excitement for Game 5 - maybe fans should, too.

A different perspective. The pressure is on, but maybe the key is to go out and have fun. Stick to the system but don't let the weight of a potential loss override the belief you can win.

Flames hopefully get off to a great start to get the fans in it. An early goal against will have the Dome on edge for sure.

It's a bit counter-intuitive, but playing loose tends to produce good results.

At least offensively, for sure.

Appreciate the article.
I won't be giving Edmonton any credit....nope.
They've been given way too many opportunities to succeed by the league and the officials.

If this were my league it would be a simple rule in the playoffs....no blood no foul. If you can skate off without the use of a stretcher then your good to go next shift.

So much fear in the playoffs with this team.

Honestly when your top players disappear after a season that they had you need to examine WTF is going on here because the results in the playoffs matter way more than regular season.

As a fan I don't appreciate Regular season stats at all because it means FA when the playoffs roll around .

So yeah....fun is fun and is nice and all but fun is just a distraction for what's really happening in the world (hate to gobble up all the fun) . It's time to wake up ....WAKE up NOW!!!

If the fellas don't do everything humanly possible to win 3 games straight then the whole regs season was a waste of months and not just 8 days.

Get to work Flames .....get to work.
If I have a bad day at work I'm fired , never re hired ....you ain't special yo.

Staying positive till the final whistle, no negative posts in game thread, no shutting off the game hoping to change the outcome. Just gonna enjoy watching the team play and cheer my hardest all game and let the chips fall where they may. Go Flames Go!

This is the type of negative mentality that the article is talking about though.

Gaudreau has 13 points in 11 games.
Tkachuk has 10 points in 11 games.
Lindholm has 9 points in 11 games.

It's not perfect and there is room for improvement but that isn't horrible production.

It's just tough because the guys they are up against (McDavid, Draisaitl) are producing at a historical clip.

And even with those two guys producing at a historical clip this series is a bounce or two from being 2-2, and could probably just as easily be 3-1 Flames. Game 2 and 4 were both toss ups.

Well 8 of those points came from that one crazy game. Completely outscored by Edmonton's top 6 otherwise all series.

Doesn't matter either way, they just need to OUTSCORE them tonight. Hopefully. Then one game at time.
