Default March 18 with five games.

The Friday OOT is the usual quieter schedule.
There are four western conference teams in action.

It is 2-2 midway through the second period in Carolina. No goals for Ovechkin yet.

Anyone know why Bobrovsky isn't playing?
He missed Tuesday, last night, and isn't playing tonight

Ouff, that does not look good for Ekblad. Hopefully nothing serious.

That would be a huge loss for Florida. Could see them switching from chasing Girioux to Lindholm/Chychrun

The games in California are going the visitors way. It is 3-0 Panthers after forty minutes and 4-0 Avalanche midway through the second period.

Or Gio. They're pretty bad defensively to begin with and without Ekblad probably bottom third, not winning in the playoffs with that. They're already committed to going all in so if it's long term, I think they'll definitely get some help.

The Sharks are trying to make a comeback,
it is 4-2 now with six minutes left in regulation time.

Well, it seems the western conf. teams that needed to win didn't have any gusto as they all lost.

The Panthers increase their slim lead in the eastern conf. as they mauled the Ducks. Knight only had to make 19 saves for the SHUTOUT. It was Gibson who kept the score respectable as he faced 42 shots, 19 of them in the 1st period! Huberdeau had 2 goals.

Damn it, the Avs beat the Sharks. Cale Makar had 1g and 2a and the Avs are now 11 points up on the Flames. The Sharks PP sucked, it was 0/5.

The Jets PP was just as bad in their loss to the Bruins going 0/5. That is perfect PK for the Bruins. Taylor Hall scored the GWG on the PP with under 5 minutes left in reg time. Coyle had 3 assists. Hellebucyk made 41 saves in the loss. The Bruins owned the 2nd period out shooting the Jets 22-4.

The Capitals beat the Hurricanes in a thriller. Jarvis with 2 goals for Carolina while Ovechkin scored the GTG with just under 5 minutes left in reg time, great wrist shot. He then scored the winner in the SO.

The Flyers-Sens game, who cares.
