Will be interesting to see Manson in Colorado.

His shot suppression and defensive impacts haven't been as strong these last two seasons as they were earlier in his career.

But a change of scenary sometimes can help that out (See Chris Tanev)

I am probably wrong but I like Manson more than Chiarot.

At least in terms of top end peak. Manson has taken a step back, but he had the better peak for sure.

To CGY: Ben Chiarot ($875,000 cap-hit)

As far as this Manson deal is concerned - I’ve never liked the player all that much, but this seems like typical value for a gritty defenceman at the deadline.
