I blame the wave.
Don't think the Flames played too badly overall just some terrible defensive breakdowns cost them mightily. A lot of 1 goal games we end up on the wrong side of. Need to sort this out.
Really need to take advantage on these teams on a back to back. Hopefully the road trip gets them back on track.

Limit the Blues to 10 shots through 2 periods, yet they had so many Grade A chances.
Battle back to tie it, then allow how many wide open one-timers in the slot?
Just awful defensive coverage.

Not worried tbh, they have lost some of the pace and crispness that was the signature of the team pre-mini lull.
Nothing they can't get back and the road trip may be exactly what is needed.

ugh...just not getting the bounces it feels like...and then STL would capitalize on any little mistake the flames would make... their goalie played really well too
hopefully they get this out of their system before the playoffs

I don’t how we are not stomping on these teams coming off a game the night before. Giving up way too many great chances against teams that are tired, injured or both.
No need to panic but sure don’t like how they are playing.
