Habs 5 Flames 4 (OT)
Game Takes: Habs 5 Flames 4 (OT)
- Flames just didn't have it tonight, not sharp mentally or physically
- Thought two of the team's most consistent players; Lindholm and Markstrom had rough nights
- Get a point with a late Lindholm goal
- Mangiapane was a beast.

It was an ugly game which unfortunately overshadowed a couple of things you pointed out.
Mangiapane was a force.
The 4th line looked great, generated tons of momentum and possession but yeah, they can't score. Maybe put Lucic on that line and acquire a forward with some wheels for the top 9. I'd take Coleman lite thank you very much. Whoever that would be.

That's two klunkers in the last 4 outings.
Vladar probably wins that game, Marky was good in the first and pretty bad after that. That 4th goal absolutely cannot go in, ever.
Saturday should be interesting.

I'd prefer Paul Ranheim or Matt Lombardi.

I don't know about that. But they definitely win that game if they don't give up so many ridiculously bad turnovers.

I doubt Vladar wins the game, and the 4th goal was more on Gaudreau and Lindholm. That said, I actually think 2 klunkers, plus the score flattered them in the second Minnie game. Minnie controlled large portions of the play and just weren't rewarded.

I don't know what game some people watched especially in the Montreal media claiming that Habs deserved to win!
High danger chances were 18-11 Flames after 60 minutes and that's with Montreal having 6 pp including two 5 on 3.
So giving up 18 High danger shots merits you to win?
Whatever! On to Denver...
