Injury or additional trade announcement coming up is the only thing that really makes any sense, but even then, you'd think they'd call up Chechelev first.

Would make sense if this were actually a possibility. Maybe Vladar is being used as a sweetener in a deal to unload some salary, otherwise somebody must know something about the netminders under contract which has yet to make it's way public.

Can't see Wolf coming up to sit on the bench until he's going to get games, which he won't with Marky playing like he is....plus Sutter does not have a good history of developing our back ups so I really hope this isn't the case
Either the Vladar trade is happening and McNiven is the new back up or they have completely lost faith in Vladar and want him on the taxi squad
