Default Question About Ratings

So my D is pretty beatup so I will have to bring up a guy from the AHL who sucks even more than the slobs I've already got. I was trying to figure out which one sucks less so I was searching the names on the cphlsim.com/ grids page. I noticed the OV were different on quite a few players compared to the "player ratings".

So are the grids tab on the https://cphlsim.com/ site just completely off? Like don't bother using that to search for players worth? Only use the downloadable spreadsheet? That's the accurate one?

my guess would be that it's still last year's ratings on the site. The downloadable spreadsheet is the correct one.

Whoa that's the first time I have ever clicked the 'grids' tab, those are wrong.

What I do is click standings then my team which brings me to my team ratings. From there you can check out all teams.

When just not sure, fire up the GM editor and use that to check.

Hmmm I've never noticed that Grids tab either. It's probably from last year. John do you know?

Either way, use what Dave has suggested. That's accurate.
There may be slight difference between the downloaded file on the forum and the team ratings on the site, but that's only due to how OVR is calculated. The individual attributes, which are what REALLY matter, don't change.

I actually made a trade or two based on the Grids tab ratings before I realized it wasn't updated. That didn't turn out so well for me.

Also, you can use the Team Stats > Team Scoring > Pro Team Roster if you want to use the CPHL site.

That Grid page on the website was supposed to be just a trial and not even visible
I couldn't make it looks pretty enough so I never pursued implementing it to the website.
Those ratings are definitely not from this year.
I deleted the menu item. Sorry for any confusion!
This page is best for ratings: https://cphlsim.com/rosters/
And then the excel sheet for any other players not in the system.
