Yeah that’s offside, and yeah it screws over the oilers, but I hate how these reviews interrupts the game flow, particularly when it’s so common that you can’t celebrate a goal in the moment. A 1-foot head start is usually pretty immaterial

The offside challenges were absolutely awful when they were first introduced for how long they took. It is much better now, and I actually don't think they are so frequent nor disruptive as to ruin the viewing experience. The blue lines are there for a reason, and I think it is good if the officials have the opportunity to make the right call most of the time.
