Anybody else watching the Steelers/Bengals game?
Game of the year, easily.

In a game of offence, both defences make the final stop for the Bengals to take it 38-31. With the win the Bengals have basically taken the division. Good on them, Marvin Lewis waited a long time to get a head job and has made the most of it. IIRC Detroit hired Mariucci without even looking at Lewis. Yeah, good move Millen.

I don't think most people will realize just how big this win is for that franchise.
I also don't think most people realize how good Pittsburgh is. They were -4 in turnovers and still had a chance to tie it up in the end. I know Roethlisberger threw 3 picks, but he was awesome today. That last TD he threw to Ward was unbelievable.
Big win for Cincinatti. I think Pittsburgh will win out and be a wildcard though.

Looks like a shootout in KC too. Denver is a machine. The Chiefs had to get a luckey interception to deny them a touchdown. Outside of that Denver has done whatever they feel like to KC. KC doesn't have the big play ability to keep it up with Denver today. Guarantee the Denver runs away with this one in the second half and it will be like 52-28 final. Another thing to keep in mind, and I'm sure Dis is aware of this is that any Denver team that win's in KC often gets to the Superbowl. So with that said, I think this will be a huge win for Denver today.

Athletic Denver QB's just kill the Chiefs....Elway used to, and Jake Plummers ability to outrun KC defenders is just killing the Chiefs today. Plummer has made like 5 plays simply because he's gotten away from the Chiefs defenders.....crap Hall fumbles to give Denver the halftime lead....Why do the Chiefs always have to be Denver's bitch.....why???

What'd you think of the call on Lynch Sylvanfan?

Hey Sylvanfan, care to join me in a "Go Raiders Go!" chant?
I'll have to vomit, but it will be worth it.

Ahh it all worked out for KC. I only got to see part of the game.
KC can't win at mile high and KC can't be beaten in December.

 go raiders go.
Wow stressfull game as a big Chief fan. Shows just how bi-polar I really am. KC did a good job of being able to keep up what they did in the first half, and continue doing it in the second half. Larry Johnson comes through huge in the 4th quarter too. At this time of year you want that big o-line and a guy who can keep pounding the ball. I thought Denver got away from their bootleg passing game in the second half and didn't take enough shots down field to stretch the defence. Perhaps they were guilty of having too much success running the ball between the 20 yard lines. They moved the ball, but once they got to the goal line they didn't use that fake left roll Plummer out right, that usually works for them. The result was not being able to get into the end zone in the second half. Still I think Trent Green being able to make the tackle after that interception was huge. Instead of giving up all momentum and going down a touchdown, that tackle allowed the Chiefs to only be down a field goal and be able to take the lead on the next possession.
The call on Lynch is a tough call to make. But Lynch does have that reputation, and it's easy in such an emotional game to go all out. Hard to say what the ultimate impact of the call was as it did make it first and goal at the 5 instead of 3rd and 9.
Still a very good entertaining game I think for any NFL fan. Close all the way, and a lot of big plays by both teams on both sides of the ball. It's huge for the Chiefs though. If they can win their two remaining home games and get some help against San Deigo and Pittsburgh 10-6 might get them in. If they get in, I'll have to say they earned it. Even if they end up like 9-7 I think this team is better than the 13-3 team from two years ago.

I think the Chiefs will make it, at 11-5.
I think they may lose in New York, and will win the rest.
Nice assessment of the Broncos, it was exactly what I was thinking.
Huge play by Trent Green on that INT. Good call.

They mentioned on ESPN Radio that there was a football celebration to top all of them today. Anyone see it? What was it?

No, apparently curling is more important than NFL primetime in Canada.

Yeah I was some ticked when I turned to TSN at 5:30 and saw that too.
TSN is replaying Primetime tonight at 10:30 though (for those that look forward all week to it - as I do)

I might not be thinking of the right one but Steve Smith layed the ball down like it was a baby and pretended to take it's diaper off and then proceeded to "wipe it's ass" with his towel. He then picked it up and caressed it against his left shoulder. Hilarious! I haven't seen any others that topped that, that's for sure.

It's too bad that show will not be back next year. Really rely on that for complete converage of every Sunday.

Well, IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, because Sunday Night Football is being moved to NBC, they are not allowing ESPN to show NFL Primetime until after the evening game is completed.
So I beleive this is it's last year, I'll look it up again to see if I am correct.
