You have to go back to Feb. 29, 2020 for the last time the two clubs met, back when Blake Coleman was on the other side in what ended up being a 4-3 win for the Bolts.

Fast forward to the present day, almost two years later, Coleman is now set to play against his old squad and be presented with his second Cup ring.

"I'm excited," he said. "First and foremost it'll be good to see those guys. Winning certainly is a bond that keeps you bonded for life and every time you see each other you just relive it.

FAST FACTS
BACK-TO-BACK: This is the Flames fifth back-to-back scenario of the season starting tonight in Tampa Bay then tomorrow in Carolina. Calgary is 3-1-0 in the first game of a back-to-back this season and 3-0-1 in the second game of the pair.

ROAD WARRIORS: The Flames have been one of the best road teams this season in the NHL as they are tied for the most road wins (13), lead the NHL in points on the road (28), the most goals for (69), the third most goals for/game (3.45), and the second most shots/game (34.6) in the NHL.

DID YOU KNOW? Johnny Gaudreau scored and extended his road point streak to 11 contests. Only seven players in Flames franchise history have posted a longer run, including Gaudreau - who posted a 13-game stretch in 2017-18. The longest such point-streak on the road in Flames franchise history is 16 games done by Gary Roberts in 1993-94.

Less excited for this one than I was for Florida. While the games against the Panthers are always entertaining, I find the Flames don't look good against the Bolts. Hoping for the best. Also hoping for a Vladar start.

Sounds like Kucherov is back tonight and Stamkos might be out for TB

Kucherov back today, as per the Athletic. Hasn’t played since October 16th.

I’d really love to see a win, but this is gonna be a tough one. I don’t think they’ve been great since coming back so hopefully the Florida humbling was a bit of a wake up to get back to what was working.

I was going to say TB is the easier game versus Fla. But Kucherov could be a game changer.

Backlund can start his second half surge any time. He's not been very good this season and I see signs of decline in his game.

Is Kucherov playing?

Don't think I've seen anything on Twitter about that.

I think they’ll win this one.

Carolina will not be fun.

What exactly about our bottom 6 is a joke to you?

We have 1 player who will be around 40 points and another that will likely exceed 20 goals playing in our bottom 6. Monahan and Lucic. Dube is also no slouch. Or alternately one of those three is in the top 6 and you have Blake coleman in the bottom 6.

Are you talking about Lewis and Richardson specifically? They have been fine, not complain worthy and definitely not a joke.
