I never understood how Macoun got caught up in that trade. He was a key defenceman for us and there was no reason to get rid of him.

Where's the clip of Gilmour flipping out on Mike Toth before the trade?

He wasn't. He left that part up to Cliff Fletcher.

One of the darkest days as a Flames fan, to even compare Gilmour for Leeman is laughable.

I lived in Winnipeg at the time and thought that riser really needs to get permission from an adult to make trades.

U would not even make that trade in a hockey pool

Toronto got the two best players in that deal. Who was third best? Petit looked good for a while.
