What to do with this?

Do you gut the AHL team to carry player who likely won't play?

Are the young guys better served playing out the season in the AHL rather than practicing with NHLers?

Do you keep a vet on the Heat to guide them along?

Who to pull?? Gawdin is the #2 scorer right now. Do you put Philp, Tuuola, and Kirkland on the squad since they are having mediocre years?

I would think the Flames have been 'lucky' enough to have Omicron blast through when it did en masse to not need much of a taxi squad. I guess Froese is currently there

There’s something to that. I may have it wrong, but I think the 20 positive players won’t even be tested again for 3 months. Unless maybe if they become symptomatic.

Can’t get put in protocol if you aren’t getting tested.

I don't like the idea of putting younger players on the taxi squad. Kids need to play, even Gawdin who is a bit older still will likely benefit from more seasoning in the AHL.

Stockton is winning right now and that is very important also in minting a winning culture. Keep things the way they are and only put people on the taxi squad if needed.

If needed throw Froese, Welinski, Gravel on there.

Darryl thought the taxi squad was a pain in the arse. Wasted a year for the players who were on the taxi, playing 3 games all season. Only wants 1-2 forward and 1 D

Stockton’s purpose is to develop players but ultimately to support the mothership.

My guess is the bring up a center, two forwards, one D and a goalie.
