One (or both) of Froese and Ruzicka likely destined for the Taxi Squad.

Hopefully Dube back at center gets him going. Probably why Mangiapane paired with him.

Don’t mind Pitlick being bumped either.

I like seeing Ritchie back in the top 12. Brings that energy and GAF.

Man it has been a while since we last looked at lines/pairings. The way this roster is being iced, there is not a lot of scoring or skill. The skill we do have outside of the top line is being stretched into the roster. We need some help via trade and a Pelletier call-up. I also liked Ruzicka on the 4th line.

I like this idea. Dube-Backlund-Lucic is a known commodity as well.

Mangiapane-Dube-Ritchie should actually be a somewhat serviceable 3rd line, if you look at the numbers they've put up in limited sample size this year.

I agree, I liked that line at the start of the season as all 3 guys can skate with each other on forechecks, rushes up the neutral zone, and breaking out of the zone with speed. Ritchie brings the beef, but all 3 play a hard nosed game.

They NEED to start playing guys on their off wings on the PP.

Watching guys recieve passes intended as 'tee ups' on their backhands because of where they're positioned was driving me nuts.

You can't get a quick shot off or surprise any goalie set up that way.

John was a goal scorer for USA in every intl tourney playing on the right side.

Flames starting to assemble a Taxi Squad.

The Heat's game tomorrow against San Jose has been postponed due to covid running rampant on the Barracuda. Hopefully the Heat are fine, as that may affect who gets called up.
