He started off hot but has regressed since. Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him if price was reasonable.

I think his value would maybe be valimaki and a 3rd?

this feels 100% like a Jim Benning move. He's an underperforming 20 something AND he's a Bruin.

Debrusk and a 1st for JT Miller is something that could work.

Guy that was hot early and dropped off.

A change of scenery swap for Monahan is interesting, if both guys continue on their current trajectory.

Neither guy is worth a 1st any more. They're roughly worth each other's value.

reminder that Boston took Zboril, DeBrusk and Senyshyn right ahead of Barzal, Connor and Chabot. That's got to sting.

DeBrusk - Dube - X as a line would be intriguing. Dube has been invisible since moving to the wing IMO. As a centre he was looking more confident - holding onto pucks longer and having more room to skate.

Would also be fun to see Louie caught in the middle while commentating BoA games.

From earlier today, before the news of the trade request broke, Debrusk was to be a healthy scratch. Cassidy commented on it

https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/bru...tch-vs-canucks

Quote:

"Any 20-goal scorer still only scores once every four games if they’re playing every game, more or less, so you still need the other things. A little bit more of an ask there on second effort away from the puck, working to keep it out of your net, etc. We understand certain guys can be physical when they’re not scoring or bringing something, and for him, it’s foot speed, and I’d like to see that every night. I’d like to see him impact the game with his foot speed every night in some way shape or form, whether it’s the forecheck, attacking the net, the penalty kill, whatever the case may be.

“So, that’s where we’re at, and we’re starting to see that drop off again, so it’s a reminder, ‘Hey, bring us the effort and hopefully the production happens, but we need that.'”

Makes sense for Boston as well, they are really missing that other top 6 C after Kreji left.

I don't see how DeBrusk makes sense for the Flames. He's a LW, so that probably puts him on the 4th line?

When I saw the title I thought Louie was finally tired of Jack Michaels and Principe.

I’d be open to a three way trade here. Cassie to Edmonton, DeBrusk to Van, Garrett to Calgary (Backup to Hrudey).
