If they don't sweep the trip I will be on here in every thread raging for the firing of Treliving. Anything other than 100% success is a failure and will reflect on me, a fan of the team.
Kidding aside, if they keep playing like they have been I will be happy and they will be racking up points.
The ellipsis following ‘Road Trip’ in the thread title makes it come across as something foreboding but I can’t help but think this road trip is something the boys are looking forward to. Any record with at least 4 wins is good but I feel like they could get at least 5 wins with how they’ve been dominating and owning play most nights.
14 points up for grabs. A grueling road trip with lots of games in a short period of time.
9 or better points is a resounding success. 8 points is a 'well, okay, not bad.' 7 points will be, 'meh, .500 hockey on a tough trip, can't complain I guess.'
On the other side of the coin 0-3 points will be, "OMG, they suck again! Trade Sutter! Fire Gaudreau! Play different music on the plane!!" 4-6 points will be, "Well, that's real disappointing considering how they were playing. Now, which team is the real Flames?"
Looks like a gruelling trip, but maybe a really good opportunity for the bonding and support to grow even more. They'll be exhausted by the end of it. In Sutter we trust.
