Makar has three points so far, 5-0 Avalanche. The Canucks have scored a pair of power play goals and lead 3-1. Both games are in the second period.

So glad Seattle didn't end up another Vegas auto contender. Boy did they make some dumb ass decisions though. They could have had Duchene and Tarasenko who are both point per game now and much better than Jarnkrok and Dunn.
BTW, what in the world happened to Jarnkrok? He's been terrible for the Kraken.
Have to think Gio will be sold as a rental at the deadline.

I think it's because they chose a cartoony stupid name like the Kraken. So many classy and hockey ready names available with great uniform combinations.

Heads up for those in the Greater Victoria area, CFAX 1070 is carrying the dreadful BC Lions game instead. The Kraken game is on KNOP 1450 and comes in clear. It is now 6-0 Avalanche.

This is the most shockingly disappointing part of their team for me.
I thought they'd at least have okay goaltending but that doesn't seem to be the case.

So what?
The last expansion team won the division and went to the cup finals in their first year and have proven to not be a flash in the pan, and the Flames were hot garbage last season. It was a legitimate concern.
Thankfully Sutter turned them around, and thankfully Seattle looks like the hot garbage.

Flames have less regulation losses than the Oilers and Ducks without playing the western bottom feeders yet.
They are definitely setting themselves up well.

No, it wasn't a bad take. The previous expansion team had no problem leaving the Flames in their dust, not a crazy thought that the next one might do that too.
