The Knights opened the scoring, but, the Red Wings have a 3-1 lead after twenty minutes yet the Knights have a 13-7 edge in shots. Detroit's power play is 2/2.

I will laugh very hard if Vegas doesn’t make the POs. But the recovery for their injured players is so quick they have to sell some by the TDL.

The Blackhawks get off to a good start with their new head coach. They won 2-1 in overtime, Debrincat scored the winner 37 seconds into the extra frame.

Maybe they'll get desperate and trade us Eichel

Anton Khudobin is an adventure.

You can only hope that the road to Eichel's return is a very ugly and challenging one for Vegas.

Hopefully they are pressured into giving up some great players and when Eichel returns, he's leading an underwhelming roster.

Thought it might take a month to score two power play goals total

2 in 1 game is a miracle

Vancouver scores two powerplay goals of their own. 2-1 in the second.

It's a shooting gallery. Four goals in 8 mins and it's now 3-2 for Vancouver.

Khudobin sure is an odd goalie. You can't argue with the results—he always posts great numbers—but he looks like he is barely in control most of the time.

There will be no nuclear meltdown post game show unlike their previous game. The Canucks won 6-3.

Elias Pettersson looks pretty useless outside the PP.

The Ducks have won 4 straight games all in reg time and on home ice. They defeated the Blues 4-1. The Blues scored 13 seconds into the game and that was it for them. Gibson stopped the next 34 shots the Blues fired at him.

The Wild continue their strong play as they beat the Islanders 5-2. Minnesota was down 2-1 to start the 3rd period and took control as the shots were 16-2 for the Wild. Varlamov did his best to keep the Isles in it as they had no offense. The final shots were 39-21 for Minnesota.

So the Canucks won 6-3 over the Stars. It's amazing that they figured out how to finally score on the PP. The Canucks were 0/18 during their slump and the dam finally burst as they scored 3 PPGs on 6 chances. Horvat, Petterson, and Hughes each had 3 points. The Stars were 2/3 on the PP and that means both teams sucked on the PK.

The Red Wings took advantage of the Knights backup goalie being in net as they won 5-2 over Las Vegas. Still, Greiss made 38 saves for Detroit to win.

We shall see how the Bhawks new coach can rally his team as the season continues. Saros is a solid #1 goalie for the Predators. Chicago won 2-1 in OT.
