Annual Game Takes Discussion
Another year ... this one with 82 games, and me writing alone again.
I take pride in it, and I'm willing to take it on again, but as I generally do annually I'm testing the waters on how often they get read.
Just a quick poll to see if the time and effort is worthwhile.
I'm getting old!

I say if you enjoy doing it then go for it but if it is too time consuming or you just don't want to put in the time do what's best for you.

Is there anyone else out there that wants to help out and write some? I would but I doubt that I will be able to watch a single game in its entirety this year

Almost always reas them, love that you do then. This site is better because of them and the discussions they create.

I almost always read the game takes as it's pretty tough to get a full game in! Definitely appreciate the effort.

Always read, and like your analysis, so I didn’t want to say “…but not all that important”. Voted “must read”, but I think that’s a little over the top.

Love them, appreciate the effort that you put into them, and maybe some of that can be offloaded. Can Scorp or others with a good knowledge of the game and team help?

I like the new format you shifted to a couple years ago (maybe longer?). Easy to consume but a lot of good insights. Always read.

They are a must read-especially if I can't watch the game.
I really appreciate your efforts Bingo but I understand if it does become too time consuming.
Hopefully someone with the right skillset can step in and help you out so you aren't left doing this on your own.

I always read them. Without them I would have to go to TSN or something. I’m not a stats guy, so that’s when I usually stop reading, but I really appreciate the effort. Game threads are an impossible way to get a feel for the game these days. They’re more of a sounding box for who hates what, and who chugs koolaid.

Read every single one. Primary source for me for post game review/analysis. Been that way for as long as you’ve done them.
Appreciate you including stats now too.

I enjoy reading them. Especially if I miss a game, it’s nice to read your breakdowns of what went down

One of the main reasons I pay the annual CP subscription.
I appreciate them.

I always leave a Thanks in the thread when I read them so that you are getting some game to game feedback. I read them less often than I used to, but that doesn't speak to the quality of the write ups which I've always found to be great - it speaks more to my changing interests.

You just have to do them this year.
It will be very interesting when the Flames win a lot of games on the scoreboard without dominating the fancy stats like they have for the last couple of years.

Like you, I am getting old, and kids keep me busy. My one GOTO after wins is Gaskal's OOT writeup.
