Default What game are you looking forward to this year?
There are plenty to choose from, especially at home:

1) October 18 vs Anaheim - home opener, and first regular season home game with fans since Covid

2) November 2 vs Nashville - return of BSD (aka David Rittich)

3) November 6 vs NYR - return of Alan Fox, reigning Norris winner

4) November 16 vs TOR - TJ Brodie’s 1st game back in Calgary with fans

5) December 23 vs SEA - Gio’s return

6) December 27 vs EDM - BOA

7) January 18 vs Florida - Sam Bennett’s first game back

8) March 18 vs Buffalo - Eichel faces his former team

1 and 5 are at the top of my list, and I know 8 won’t happen but it’s still fun to pretend

I was going to say first game of the playoffs, but I like yours better.

Also wouldn't mind seeing the first game after each of Gaudreau and Tkachuk sign their long-term extensions, shutting up all the naysayers.

Haha -- fair enough. I was originally going to include seeing players like Kaprizov, LaFreniere, etc in person for the first time. But I'm not sure if any of those guys are really at that level yet.
