Man, it's been a while since I watched a CFL game. What is the position next to the middle linebacker (MLB)? WLB? Is that the weakside linebacker? What's a SAM?

In the neo-modern CFL, the strong-side linebacker is a defensive back in a linebacker position, who will cover the fifth receiver in the offensive formation, likely on the wide side of the field. Most often the SLB lines up on the side with the greater number of receivers, but may be tasked with covering a specific receiver and will follow his assignment in the formation. Some teams/coaches use the terminology NICKEL or DIME linebacker for this position. Positional responsibilities are complex, vary by scheme implemented and I do not attempt to cover all possible roles for this position.
Traditionally, the linebacker who plays the strong-side (wide side of the field created when the ball is located on a hash mark) of the field.

Cool, thanks, but that doesn't explain the acronym SAM.

Sam = Strongside LB
Mike = Middle LB
Will = Weak side LB
Just the first letter of the names as an indicator of position.

"Bo is the golden child of the franchise always looking elegant throwing the ball around etc.......Until he gets hit!"
Producer then asks from off camera "are you the one thats going to be hitting him?"
CH...."Just you watch!"
I got the distinct impression that Charleston isnt a big fan of BLM...like at all.....but he could just be performing for the cameras as he is want to do at times.

When the D was getting introduced Hughes was at centre field running his mouth. Refs had come over and move him

Are the ads on the front of the jerseys new?
Edit: Looks like they've been around for past three seasons just haven't watched a game for so long.

With the season ending in December, I'm glad they are running the ball a lot more. and Carey looks great.

This Riley kid looks like he's going to be dangerous on kick/punt returns as well as missed FG attempts.

That looked like a horse collar tackle to me and Huff is injured.
Edit: He looks to be fine *whew*
