I think we will just sign our RFAs - Zadorov, Valimaki, Mackey, Kylington. Maybe Stone too as a #7/8 defenseman.

Seattle has 10 D-men who are waiver-eligible. They will need to trade some of them or lose several on waivers

Murray was one I was hoping CGY could snag, but I also think Tree is too busy cook up the main dish to focus on appetizers.

It's kind of why I was hoping the Eichel situation would sort itself out sooner than later so the Flames don't miss out on other potential signings or trades that could go during this waiting period.

Like it's really not a big deal Murray signed elsewhere but if he was a potential signing that got missed because of the Eichel thing, it's a missed opportunity.

Well we've heard Treliving was in on Murray, as we're several other teams. So given where Murray signed and what he signed for, it seems like a safe bet he chose Colorado for the opportunity and to likely cash in as a UFA next season following a potentially strong season on a contender

It's time to play our youth and guys that have been trying to Crack this roster. We have gotten some good help coming in and up Mackey and Zadorov. Get Stone signed for depth and as a veteran.
I sure hope we aren't going dumpster diving with Tre and Maloney this year and I truly hope Darryls words are listened too .

My perception of what is happening behind the scenes is that hockey ops and scouting, management are all pulling in the same direction. I didn't get that warm fuzzy feeling the last few years.....Tre seems to always need to be thr smartest guy in the room and that's not working well all of the time as we know.
