Plan the parade for the three-peat.

Maybe Perry is a curse?

Two straight Stanley Cup finals, two straight losses.

Maybe Lightning just screwed themselves of a 3 peat.

Hopefully the lucky charm was Coleman.

You've got to give Perry some credit. I thought he was done before he went to the Habs.
He had a pretty big impact on that team and gets yet another contract.
Impressive.

Well here I didnt think I could loathe Tampa more than I currently do.

Evidently I was wrong.

Well played Mr. Perry.

Hey...they like to cheat. It seems like a natural fit.

So he learned after being on the wrong side of it twice.

Kind of funny cause i bet they fall short of a third straight cup.

Reminds me of Hossa flipping between Det and Pitts only to lose twice.

So it is possible to hate Tampa more!

The Flames miraculously winning against them in the finals under Sutter now? How good would that feel. Maybe in my dreams.

No one's won 3 in a row since the Isles won 4 so, yeah.

Gourde, Goodrow, Coleman, Johnson out
Perry and Bellemare in
They will still be damn good, but maybe a little closer to the pack

Yes, but...sports have been nothing short of insane the last few years. Historical references dont mean a lot.

And, frankly, Tampa tap-danced to that Cup. They were far and away the best team. Who is going to stop them?

Whether you agree with their Kucherov move or not, it's no longer available to them and as a result they've had to shed a lot of good players - Gourde, Coleman, Goodrow, Johnson, McBackup, and they are still over the cap now (well, counting Seabrook). They will have to be compliant before 2022 starts.

They still have a great team but their bottom six took a real hit, especially considering their third line was as good as most team's second line. They've now moved out good prime players for who they hope are still decent old ones.

But if anyone can they can - they are a relatively young team still - Stamkos is their oldest star at 31.

Currently 79.350 M on a 20 man roster. So they can open the year at ~81.1M with 21.

It'll be tougher to accrue space if there is no taxi squad.
