The Flames now have 51 players remaining at camp

I like it. The guys got a taste of the nhl and now it's down to their teams to gear up for their seasons. Also just to many players at camp.

Yeah seems like a good move. Let the kids know what to work on, and let them do their thing.

Is the game against Edmonton one game or two split squad games? I wonder if they go down to 40 in the next round of cuts, or trim the roster even more to something like 30 players.

Both should play for the Sea Dogs this season, who are hosting the Memorial Cup.

Wouldn't read too much into it. If Zary and Kinnvall weren't injured likely both of them would have been sent back with the rest of Group 1. Sticking around to keep pairings and lines even in group 3.
